An Artist's Quest for "Soul" in a Chaotic World—by InnerSpirit

This is my InnerSpirit blog page...a page of reflection...inquiry...
and artistic questions about myself, my life, and the world around me. A place for my own personal contemplation of my emotions, my actions, my art, my spiritual journey and how they all intertwine and influence each other. I hope that you check it out, think a little about your life and the many creative things that you might be engaged in...how do those fit into your life and impact the various aspects of your own life? Let's reflect together!

Eerie Textural Landscape: Day 9

More Play, Less To Say! Sorry no time for blogging...more homework this week is a crunch for the end of the semester. Another work in progress...I like starting these images...don't know if I will finish them this month or later. Going with the flow!

Hope everyone is having fun with this art month!
Blessings and much love,
D.

  1. a very interesting piece. It is very precise yet chaotic. The more I look at it the more I see.

  3. Jehanna...yes, I don't know what I am actually doing with this piece. I added some of the straight line work to break up the organic feeling of the other parts, but I am not sure if I am keeping all the lines or what at this point. It is evolving. I was drawn, as you say, to the chaotic, organic side, contrasted with the mathematical, precise areas. Thank you for visiting and your comment. I will be playing with it later on to see what happens.

  4. Sandy...Thanks for the return visit! I hope you enjoy looking through my blog. A lot of the images I have been doing so far for ADEM are not completed, they are just my beginnings of some possible future creation if I work more into them. It seems so far all that I can manage to just get some things started...I don't know if I will get to finish them this month or whether they will need to "simmer" for while and I will come back to them. At least I am creating! I love talking to all the new artist friends that I am meeting.

  6. Ellie..I hope you do check out those sites, they are a lot of fun and I think that they really let you just get pulled into a relaxed, meditative state that I think is very healing itself. I think it opens up your mind to new opportunities since some of it really is spontaneous and you only have limited control over the final product.
